Dog Training in Washington State

Work with Woof Wisdom

Group classes can be a great way to build skills, confidence, and good habits in a supportive environment. At Woof Wisdom, classes are intentionally kept small so dogs and their people have room to learn without feeling overwhelmed. While group classes are appropriate for many training goals, dogs experiencing significant fear, aggression, or reactivity may benefit from individualized behavior support instead. If you’re not sure which option is right for your dog, I’m happy to help you determine the best place to start.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? you're not alone.

It's common for handlers looking for a trainer to have a number of questions, from how long training will take before they see progress to info about the process.

How long will it take to resolve my dog's separation anxiety?

Training for separation anxiety focuses on changing underlying emotional responses, which is different from teaching new behaviors or tricks. Like humans working through fears or phobias, it's hard to predict exactly how long it will take. Every dog is unique, and each guardian’s ability to follow through with training varies. While progress can be slow at times, with consistency, patience, and dedication, you’ll see improvement. It’s important to keep in mind that this may take months, but I’ll set you and your dog on the right path, and the work you do will continue to pay off even after we’re done.

Do you guarantee results?

You and your dog will always receive respectful, compassionate care from me. I’m committed to being transparent and honest about outcomes, progress, and expectations. However, it’s important to know that no trainer can guarantee specific results. Dogs are living beings, and their behavior is influenced by many factors—everything from changes in their environment to health, reinforcement history, human interactions, and genetics. Just like in humans, behavior can’t be fully predicted or controlled; it can fluctuate based on different circumstances.
